Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about picture books.
Do you have a favourite picture book, either from your own childhood, or reading to you children?
It has been quite a few years since reading to my sons.  But there are a few that I do remember and those are Polar Express, Good Night Moon and another one that was a great help to me.  It was a book geared to toddlers, one for boys, different for girls.  I can’t remember the title but it was a story for them regarding using a “potty” lol.  It sounds funny now but it was a great tool back then.
Photobucket in the fun. You don’t need a blog to comment. But if you do and want to join in, link is above.

  1. My son's (age 18) favorite was Good Night Moon. To get him rolling his eyes, I recite it to him!

  2. yep, even I remember reading Goodnight Moon to my niece. Personally, I seem to have blocked out most of my childhood. Except one collection of fairy tales, name unknown, I can't remember being read anything.
Maybe why I learned to read at an early age. 🙂

  3. Polar Express was a cute movie, never heard of the book till then. Never read it. I don't remember much about any picture books in my childhood. Here'smine

  4. LOL… I answered this on my blog, but after reading other people's responses, I realize that I've forgotten about a lot of my favourites! I used to love Goodnight Moon when I was a little kid, too.

  5. When I was little I loved, 'Millie's Got a Secrtet' I even named my daughter for it. My daughter loves 'Go Do Go!' Hope she doesn't follow my lead and name her daughter after it!!!
