Slapdash Sunday is a day for your proverbial week ‘leftovers.’ Is there something you wanted to say, but just forgot? Is there something you want to write about, but isn’t worth a whole page? Do you have a random thought, funny or otherwise that needs to be written down?
That is what Slapdash Sunday is for!
This past week I started resubscribing to book blog email newsletters. I had subscribed to so many that I feared my mailbox would be filled in a matter of days while I was in the hospital. So prior to being admitted, I unsubscribed. So here are my questions:
Good Morning All. It is another summer like day in New England. Our windows are opened, the birds are chirping, hubby and I have read the paper with our mugs of coffee. Just a perfect Sunday morning. And now onto Sunday’s meme:

How many email newsletters do you subscribe to? What makes you choose one over another? Or do you not subscribe to any and just use your google reader to see whats going on in book blogging land?
I don't subscribe to any by email – I use Google Reader to manage my subscriptions.
Kathy: I use that too for blogs that don't have newsletters. I feel that I am missing out not subscribing but preoperative I had so many that my mailbox was loaded. Still trying to decide how I will be handling this issue. Thank you for your input. It is always appreciated.
I like Google Friend Connect much better, but I do subscribe to a few WordPress blogs that way.
Google Reader is very convenient for me. I do have a separate email, tho, for blog responses from the different blogs I subscribe to. They would be too overwhelming otherwise. (queen bee)
I don't sign up for any emails. I actually just follow the Reading List of Blogs that I follow on my blogger dashboard. It's what works for me. 🙂
