Slapdash Sunday is a day for your proverbial week ‘leftovers.’ Is there something you wanted to say, but just forgot? Is there something you want to write about, but isn’t worth a whole page? Do you have a random thought, funny or otherwise that needs to be written down?
That is what Slapdash Sunday is for!
………Have I missed some? Has someone posted that a certain challenge will be in place for 2011 but linky list is not up yet and I missed that too? Are you in the same position as me, that you are preparing and/or trying to prepare for your 2011 Challenges? Have you joined any challenges for 2011? Which ones? If you did, could you also provide the blog’s site link? Do you know or have you seen any others that you would like to share?
So instead of a discussion, I thought we could have a Slapdash Share !!!!
And I just found two more, one I have already signed up for and the other sign up will be posted for sign up on Dec. 1st:

I haven't started thinking about challenges for next year – that's one area I always procrastinate in.
Thank you Kathy!!! I keep telling myself that I will not sign up for a lot of challenges in 2011, but I get excited when I see one that looks like fun.
Cheryl, I thought your blogoversary was in Oct and missed it, lol, I am all for 0 calorie cake, thats my favourite, congrats hon.
I have been waiting for the ebook challenge announcement, thanks for adding that.
I announced a new one yesterday, come over to check it out.
Cheryl: Happy Blogiversary! I'm so glad you're blogging and that we've found each other on the blogosphere.
I'm also participating in the Outdo Yourself & Off the Shelf challenges as well as one that you don't have listed above:
The Gothic Reading Challenge found at http://gothicreadingchallenge.blogspot.com/p/sign-up-post_25.html
Here are a few more that I've found and I'm still contemplating (I don't want to over-commit myself and these things are so hard to resist…). I'm more likely to go for the first two.
The Century Challenge:
The Hometown Challenge:
The Fifty States Challenge:
Men in Uniform Challenge:
Marce: Thank you!! Wish you had reminded me lol…it just dawned on me to check. Going to your place now to check out your challenge.
I will be announcing the details to my JUST FOR FUN READING CHALLENGE 2011 on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Just working out one last detail. I hope you will join that one too!!
Bev: Thank you!! I so enjoy your postings and being amazed at how many classics you read. I am like you too..I tell myself not to enter as many as I did this year, but it is just so hard to resist. Going to check out the ones you spoke about. Thanks for the list….I think lol.
Lori: You have piqued my curiousity regarding your challenge. Will definitely be on the look out for the announcement.
If you are interested, I am hosting a Back To the Classics Challenge 2011 on my site: http://sarahreadstoomuch.blogspot.com
The post w/info and sign ups has now moved down the page, but I added a nifty button w/clickable link to get you there fast!
I am also participating the the 50 States Challenge next year, which someone else listed in an earlier comment.
LOL… I can empathize with you Cheryl with those Senior Moments! Happy Blogversary.
I love a good challenge. Check out the 2011 Debut Author Challenge at The Story Siren
She has a great list of debut authors already.

Sarah: I have promised myself that once, if ever, I get caught up with reviews, I am going to leave my comfort zone and read a classic. I think that the reason I don't enjoy that genre is because of it being mandatory in school many, many years ago and back then did not appreciate them. However, GL and I will be a cheerleader for your challange. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Nise: Thank you. Only problem is that those moments are turning into minutes and hours lol.
Jennifer: Thank you for stopping by and sharing. Going to go check that one out.
I think the 'Just For Fun Reading Challenge' sounds like one I would like, I will have to check it out this week. I am on the downhill side of my 'Fall Into Reading Challenge" now, it will be over December 21, 2010, and I think I need to read 4 more books I listed until then.
Now I have to go check out 'tea with marce's' challenge.
Forgot to mention that I am contemplating a Challenge of my own…I have a few details to iron out. It's going to revolve around vintage mysteries. We'll see if I can get it up and running in time for the New Year.
The challenges you signed up for each look do-able & fun! Great choices!!
Congrats – only a year? You seem like you've been doing it forever!
