This week’s question:
CAN you judge a book by its cover?
My answer:
In some cases, Yes.  I am not interested in reading books in the categories of Historicals, PNR and/or the Vampire books that are very popular right now and those genres are quite evident by their covers so I just pass those books by.  I can usually tell if it is a Cozy Mystery by it’s cover but all others, I usually have to read the synopsis to see if it is something that will interest me.  What about you?  Can you judge a book by it’s cover?

From Lori’s site:
It struck me recently how much time I spend on this computer every day, blogging, chatting or playing games on Facebook, emailing friends and relatives, making cards and calendars, etc. etc. etc.
We depend on each other for book reviews, giveaways, encouragement, friendship, but how well do we really know each other?
So that is what this meme is all about, getting to know each other.

  1. I like it when I am proven wrong when I first judged a book by its cover!

Our Easter tradition is sticky buns in the morning before Church.

  2. Oh, I do enjoy looking at covers, since I am a "visual" person; and as you mentioned, sometimes we can identify a genre by the cover and pass by those we don't want to read.

    Here's MY BTT POST

  3. It's the first thing that attracts you to the book.

Stop and see mine and my giveaways.

  4. The covers today are works of art, remember the old days when the cover was plain, just the title. I am showing my age.

I love your graphics for EMWTK!!
