This week’s question:
This week’s musing asks…

Describe the last time you were stumped for something to read, and you took measures to remedy that — either by going to the bookstore, the library, or shopping elsewhere. What book did you choose? Did it get you out of your slump?
My answer:
I don’t think I have ever been stumped for something to read, only because I have a 5 shelf bookcase of both requested and personal tbr books to be read.  When I do go into a reading slump, which I am in a mini one right now, and I just can’t focus on a book, I’ll just pull another one off the shelf and try to get engrossed into that one.  I know why I am in my present slump, which is due to some recent real life issues and will hopefully return to normal shortly and so will my reading pattern.

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A girl and her books and is now on tour.
According to Marcia, “Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.”

  1. I rarely get in a reading slump, but if I do I may just take a few days away from reading, and then I'm ready to get back to my reading.

  2. Some interesting titles there this week, Cheryl!

I used to have reading slumps, but not so much since I started blogging….too many good books now sitting on my shelves 🙂

Thanks for link to blog forum.

  6. I have a huge TBR list and I still spend time trying to figure out how to follow some books. It's a tough thing for me, but I always manage. 🙂 Stopping in to say hello for Musing Mondays and am a new follower. I have a lovely week!
