JUNE 10th to JUNE 24th, 2011
CREED’S HONOR
by LINDA LAEL MILLER
SYNOPSIS:
On the heels of the #1 New York Times best-seller A CREED IN STONE CREEK, “First Lady of the West” Linda Lael Miller is back with the highly anticipated CREED’S HONOR (HQN Books; June 2011; $7.99), the second installment in the rugged and romantic “Creed Cowboys” trilogy. Miller introduces eager readers to Connor Creed, a dedicated cowboy and cousin of Steven Creed from A CREED IN STONE CREEK, who is looking for his place in the Wild West.

Conner Creed knows exactly who he is: a hardworking rancher carrying on his uncle’s legacy in Lonesome Bend, Colorado. Maybe a small-town cowboy’s life isn’t his dream, but he owes the man who took him in as a kid. Until the identical twin brother he’s been estranged from for years reenters his life.
Conner struggles with identity issues as he gets to know his wilder brother. And then he meets Tricia McCall, a beautiful woman who knows a thing or two about living someone else’s dreams. Together, they just might find their own dreams right here in Lonesome Bend….

  1. Oh! Oh! Oh!
I so want this!! I ADORE those Creed guys but for some reason don't have any of the new ones in print.

    I think ranching is too hard… but being a rancher… that's a different story!

  2. I am a big fan of Linda Lael Miller's cowboys and love reading about them. While I love her cowboys, I truly don't think I am cut out to be a rancher and would rather experience ranching through Linda lael Miller's books.

  5. Love , Love Linda's cowboys. I look forward to read the second book "Creed's Honor".I loved Steven's story.I've read every one of her books. No one writes Cowboys like Linda.
A Rancher's life has to be one of the hardest jobs ever. It would be fantastic to be outdoors all the time but I think you'd have to be born loving the ruggedness of a Rancher's life and all the hours it requires. I'd love to be a Rancher's woman but afraid I'd be a washout as a Rancher. lol

  7. I would absolutely love to live the life of a rancher — I love spending time at home.

  8. No, I wouldn't want to be a rancher. It is a hard 24/7 job.

  9. No, I would not. I am much more of a town girl, and having grown up in farm country, have a pretty good idea of how hard the life can be. Although mechanization has certainly helped with the manual labor portion of it.

  11. I think being a rancher involves alot of hard work and time commitment……..day and night. I don't think I'm cut out to be a rancher, but I admire those who are.

  12. I've been there. It's hard work. I want a vacation every once in a while and that rarely happens on a ranch.
