BEG FOR MERCY

Megan Flynn thought she was falling in love. Cole Williams wasn’t just handsome and passionate, he was one of the good guys. Or so she thought, until he arrested her brother-the only family she has left-for a murder she knows he couldn’t have possibly committed. Now, with her heart broken and her brother’s life hanging in the balance, Megan will risk everything to prove his innocence. Even if that means throwing herself into the path of a sadistic killer with a hauntingly familiar MO.
Seattle Detective Cole Williams had given up on making Megan see reason where her brother is concerned. But when she insinuates herself into the most shockingly brutal case Cole has ever worked, he can’t stand idly by. Plunged into a secret world where the city’s elite indulge their darkest desires, Cole will do whatever it takes to bring down a madman who has made Megan his most coveted prey

  1. When it comes to family and those I really love, if I knew them to be innocent I would go to the ends of the earth to prove it. For me there is nothing more important or precious than family.

Beg for Mercy sounds like a great book. It's exciting to hear it will be a part of a trilogy.

  2. Somehow I don't think I'm that passionate or strong to risk everything..

  3. I would risk everything to prove the one I love is innocent or a family member. Thats what love is all about. Please enter me in contest. I really want to read this book. Tore923@aol.com

  4. I have way too many books on my TBR list and TBR pile. All told that comes to about sixty books.

Now here's the scary math: I read roughly one book per week – and sometimes two. But two to three books are being added to my TBR list every week.

    Stressful, right?

    Wrong!

Hop on over to my blog – http://www.howardsherman.net and find out why.

  5. Yes, I would risk everything, except a loved ones life, to prove innocence.

  6. I think I would risk everything to prove one's innocence, except for putting those close to me in harm's way.

  7. I think it would depend on who it was and what they were accused of. Some people and some penalties are worth more risk.

  8. If one of my loved ones was in trouble I would definitely risk everything to prove them innocent.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  9. If I knew if my heart that my brother was innocent – then I would, but I have a family to take care of ect so it is very complex, he would not want me to put my kids at risk – I would not want him to put his at risk for me either. So it is very hard to answer that, in my humble opinion.

  10. If I truly believed in something, I would take a risk. I don't know if I would risk everything, because I've never been in that situation. To me, my family is included as part of that 'everything', and I don't know if I could risk another family member!(and I hope I never have to make that decision!)

  11. I'm not a big risk taker but I would risk everything to prove the innocence of a loved one.
