INDIA’S SUMMER
by THÉRÈSE

SYNOPSIS:
INDIA’S SUMMER by Thérèse is the story of India Butler, single and about to turn forty, who travels from London to LA to reinvent herself. In a world illuminated by the flashbulbs of the paparazzi, she discovers the true meaning of “having it all’ while spending the summer with her sister Annabelle, a famous Hollywood actress, and her brother -in -law, a legendary rock musician.
They welcome India into their opulent, fast-paced lifestyle, whisking her from fabulous fundraisers to parties each more opulent than the last. This does nothing for India’s confidence and she maintains a wry detachment until she begins dating Adam, a gorgeous A- list actor. In an attempt to appear more successful she lies to him about her career.
Disaster strikes and India is drawn behind the veneer of Hollywood glitz and glamor and into Hollywood’s private lives. As her illusions about the perfection of their LA lifestyle fade away, India has an epiphany about her own real talents. .
India is in her element until her new life in LA unravels.

  2. Other than being totally freaked out–yikes! I think I’d change my name and move away. It wouldn’t be in me to stand up to it or to let people know it was me :\

  3. freak out, Im sure!

  4. I’d be very upset–although I can’t think of anything I’ve done that would warrant a video! I’d try to get it taken down, but I think that is difficult.
    Thanks for the giveaway.

  5. I would hope that my friends and family, the people who matter most, would stand by my side.

  6. I can’t imagine that happening to me at my age. What could possibly be videoed of me that would draw any attention whatsoever. However, I guess I would go hide my head in the sand, until things settled down.

  7. Hmmmm … just don’t know.

  8. I don’t do anything that would be construed as defamatory in any form. But if for some strange reason it happened, I would try to explain it to those close to me and ignore the rest.

  9. I’d try my best to go on a vaca until it blew over.

  10. I’m sure I would go into “seclusion” until the buzz died down. Afterall there would be something else in a few weeks that everyone would be talking about (hopefully). :)

  11. I’d probably stay home all the time.

  12. I would probably go into seclusion and hide from the world.

  13. I would go into hiding for a couple of months and let my family and close friends know why.

  14. I’d be pretty upset! I’d be seriously tempted to move far away, tmporarily or maybe even permanently. It would depend on what the circumstances were but I might try and talk to the person responsible for the video. I might also consider suing the responsible party (depending on what the video’s about ). At some point I’m sure I’d think about recording a video denying the defamation but in the end posting it could do me more harm than good.

    What a nightmare!

  15. I would probably lock myself in my house and not answer the phone, and hope that people would soon move on to next scandal.

  16. Hide! I’d be super embarrassed

  17. I’d laugh, cause nobody in India knows me

  18. I’d have to buck up and own it. No sense denying what’s already out there!

  19. i’d be pretty mad for sure

  20. I think I would make a rebuttal video.

  21. I would move to a secluded island

  22. I would become a Kardashian.

  23. I would hide

  24. I would freak out. lol I’d try to combat it with another video I guess.

  25. run and hide!!

  26. I would freak out, and after that I am not sure!!

  27. I would deny, deny, deny and then find a giant paper bag to put over my head.

  28. i would try to keep my head up, but i know it would drive me crazy!

  29. I would try to have it taken down immediately. People who know me knew it isn’t true. Others I wouldn’t worry about.

  30. “Just keep swimming…just keep swimming.” If you know me, you know the truth.

  31. Try to remove the video and then lay low.

  32. I would weep and hide forever!

  33. Hide, hide some more and get plastic surgery.

  34. I would be really upset and try to defend myself for my beliefs

  35. I would be upset for sure. Not sure what I would do, but hope that my loved ones would stand beside me.

  36. I would try to get it down before more people see it, then i wouldnt go out in public.
