GIVEAWAY ENTRY PAGE “INDIA’S SUMMER” by Therese ENDED

AUGUST 15th to AUGUST 29th, 2012

INDIA’S SUMMER
by THÉRÈSE

SYNOPSIS:
INDIA’S SUMMER by Thérèse is the story of India Butler, single and about to turn forty, who travels from London to LA to reinvent herself. In a world illuminated by the flashbulbs of the paparazzi, she discovers the true meaning of “having it all’ while spending the summer with her sister Annabelle, a famous Hollywood actress, and her brother -in -law, a legendary rock musician.
They welcome India into their opulent, fast-paced lifestyle, whisking her from fabulous fundraisers to parties each more opulent than the last. This does nothing for India’s confidence and she maintains a wry detachment until she begins dating Adam, a gorgeous A- list actor. In an attempt to appear more successful she lies to him about her career.
Disaster strikes and India is drawn behind the veneer of Hollywood glitz and glamor and into Hollywood’s private lives. As her illusions about the perfection of their LA lifestyle fade away, India has an epiphany about her own real talents. .
India is in her element until her new life in LA unravels.

  1. Other than being totally freaked out–yikes! I think I’d change my name and move away. It wouldn’t be in me to stand up to it or to let people know it was me :\

  2. I’d be very upset–although I can’t think of anything I’ve done that would warrant a video! I’d try to get it taken down, but I think that is difficult.
    Thanks for the giveaway.

  3. I can’t imagine that happening to me at my age. What could possibly be videoed of me that would draw any attention whatsoever. However, I guess I would go hide my head in the sand, until things settled down.

  4. I don’t do anything that would be construed as defamatory in any form. But if for some strange reason it happened, I would try to explain it to those close to me and ignore the rest.

  5. I’m sure I would go into “seclusion” until the buzz died down. Afterall there would be something else in a few weeks that everyone would be talking about (hopefully). 🙂

  6. I’d be pretty upset! I’d be seriously tempted to move far away, tmporarily or maybe even permanently. It would depend on what the circumstances were but I might try and talk to the person responsible for the video. I might also consider suing the responsible party (depending on what the video’s about ). At some point I’m sure I’d think about recording a video denying the defamation but in the end posting it could do me more harm than good.

    What a nightmare!

  7. I would probably lock myself in my house and not answer the phone, and hope that people would soon move on to next scandal.

  8. I would deny, deny, deny and then find a giant paper bag to put over my head.

  9. I would try to have it taken down immediately. People who know me knew it isn’t true. Others I wouldn’t worry about.

  10. I would be upset for sure. Not sure what I would do, but hope that my loved ones would stand beside me.
