Today’s question:
Do you bring the book(s) you’re reading with you when you go out? How?
Physically, or in an e-reader of some kind? Have your habits in this
regard changed?
My answer:
For as long as I can remember, a book is in hand whenever I leave the house, except for one time when I didn’t and I learned a lesson. It’s automatic, grab my pocketbook, keys and my current read be it either a print or EBook. No matter where I am going, my book comes with me. Even if it is a short errand. All I can think about is “what if” situations and have no book with me!! Example…I get a flat tire and have to wait for AAA, I need my book to read while I wait. However, there was one time, earlier this year, when I wasn’t feeling well, called the doctor and was told to come right in. Rushing to get ready, I forgot to grab my book. No problem, I would see the doc and then come straight home. WRONG!!! From the doctor’s office, I was rushed to the hospital. I was more upset that I didn’t have my book, as I sat in the ER for hours, than for why I was there. I learned my lesson.
What about you? Is your book always with you?
Ah, yes, the lesson learned: you never know when a short errand will turn into something else.
Here’s MY BTT POST
It depends on where I’m going – if it’s just up to the grocery store, the book stays home.
I always bring a book with me even if I don’t think I will need one.
If you’re going to be tied up for a period of time it’s good to have a book with you.

I also always need a book with me and always feel so stupid when I forget my book because I was just sitting around for an hour without any use! So I full heartedly agree with you! 🙂

A book always comes in handy for long waits.

Hi, Cheryl! [frantic waving] It’s me, the long-lost, hardly ever visiting Bev (darn these different blogging platforms). I also regret it every time I forget a book….I try very hard not to forget to have one on me at all times (especially since I have all those challenges to meet…Lol). My complete Answer.
I almost never leave home without a book.
I hate it when I forget to take a book with me to an appointment, because invariably that will be the time when I’m most likely to be delayed. My BTT:
