  1. Thank you for participating in the Fill-Ins! Family really is a blessing that can bring so much happiness. And I am so happy that you are now cane-free! One of my coworkers used to require a can to walk, but then she also had successful surgery to remedy that. She said it is very freeing to be able to walk on her own again. I bet you feel the same way, and I am so happy for you. Have a wonderful day!

    1. Hi L.M.G.
It’s been fun visiting all sites. Yes…such a freeing feeling. Plus the fact that I don’t have excruciating pain 24/7. I had a 3 consecutive day surgery, it was tough but well worth it. Thank you for stopping by!

  2. Cheryl,

Oh, that’s wonderful you no longer need a cane! Why did you need it to begin with, if you don’t mind me asking? Smoking is a bad habit. I won’t brow beat you over that because I used to smoke when I was a teenager but thankfully I gave it up after a few years. That was one of the best decisions I could’ve made for a rebellious knot-head. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate your prayers. May God bless you with a glorious weekend!

    1. Cathy:
Thank you for stopping by. I needed a cane due to an unsuccessful back surgery. However, in 2014, a 3 day operation was successful and I was finally able to stand straight without the use of a cane.

  3. Welcome to the fill-ins, thank you for participating, I enjoyed your answers. I am glad you don’t need a cane to walk anymore. Have a great weekend!

  4. As they say, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today. The same is true about quitting smoking. If you want to, you can do it. Have a blessed week.
