What reading skeletons do you have in your closet? Books you’d be ashamed to let people know you love? Addiction to the worst kind of (fill in cheesy genre here)? Your old collection of Bobbsey Twin Mysteries lovingly stored behind your “grown-up” books? You get the picture … come on, confess!
My Answer:
Sorry everyone…this is going to be a very boring response. There are none. I just recently did a huge purge of my books so there are none hidden. The only books that I should get rid of, and not sure why I can’t, are my college text books. Since they are from 10, 20, lets just say they are a few years old. The content is outdated and any info, if needed, is now at my finger tips but I just can’t find the courage to toss them.

If you could rewrite the ending of any book, which book would it be? And how would you change it?
My Response:
The most recent book that I would have liked to change the ending was Beachcombers by Nancy Thayer. I wouldn’t want to actually change the ending but have it continue. I became so engrossed in the lives of the characters that I hated to see the book end. I have had that happen to me on a lot of occasions and wish there had been a sequel to continue following the characters, maybe there will be one with this book!!

Has this changed since the arrival of ebooks?
My Response:
Good question!! I have wondered what I would do since getting an EReader. First it would depend on destination, how long we will be away for and reason for travel. No matter of the above, I would take a minimum of 2-3 books, more if length of vacation is longer than a long weekend and/or 3 day getaway. I think that I would probably leave the EReader at home even though it would be much easier transporting, packing and even purchasing extra books. But when hubby and I think “vacation”, it is either to Aruba or a cruise. And under those circumstances, I would worry that the EReader would have a higher chance of either getting damaged and/or stolen if we were to leave it by a beach chair. So the PBs win…they come on vacation!!
