Are you a blogger over 40? Yeah, welcome to the club!
Please join in the fun and get to know your fellow bloggers!!
From Jennifer’s site:
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!
The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don’t have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.
If you start following someone through the Hop, leave a comment on their blog to let them know! Stop back during the week to see other blogs that are added! And, most importantly, the idea is to HAVE FUN!!
This week’s twist:
When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?
My reviews are written as soon as I finish the book and before I start the next book. Never know when those “senior moments” are going to kick in lol. But while reading the book, I place a large lined post-it inside of the book’s cover and will jot some notes/details that I think may be important and/or will help me with the review. Because I am, and always was, a reading one book at a time person, it has carried over into writing my reviews. What kind of reviewer are you?
I have to review fairly quickly too, otherwise the details get lost in my little brain.
I review after and sometimes take notes too.
I usually try to get mine done before starting the next book too… otherwise things get muddled!!!

Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday and a Giveaway!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Happy Friday!
Hi Cheryl,
I too do my reviews as soon as I finish the book generally within 24 hours. I sometimes use book marks to remind of passages I may want to refer to in my review. My kids look at the book and think I am nuts, are you on tat page or that page or that page, lol
Here from Over 40 Follow. C-U soon!

Cmash, i do something similar, i'll fold up a peice of notebook paper or something and tuck it into the book. of course, when i need a pen, those senior moments always attack!
cute blog!
Hi, just blog hoping and found your blog. Now following and hope you can return the favor. Just finished reading "The secret life of bees" I belong to a book club and love to read when I get the chance. Any good suggestions?

OMG! I do the same thing with the sticky post it inside my book! I've got little coloured post its and then I go back at the end to write it up! I knew we were TWINS separated at BIRTH 🙂
I'm like you, read one book at a time and I will write my review before moving on. I love my Kindle for the making notes but if a sentence stands out to me I will put a note in a book to use for reviews.
Hi there! *waves*
Just making my round via hop! Lovely blog you have here. This week I'm trying really hard to reach 375 followers so for every follower I get this week they will get one too! So hop on over!

Couple more years before I can join the club but I like the idea of it.
Happy weekend. Come see how I write reviews
Hi there. I am an old follower just hopping by. I too have a pad of paper and I jot notes as I read. Like you, I can only read and review one book at a time. I seem to be having more and more of those "senior moments"!
