My Question:How long sitting in a doctor’s waiting roomare you willing to wait, before you start to get upsetMy Answer:45 min. …that’s why I always bring my book.
Oh, I'll wait HOURS if I have my nook… I get lost
There should be a law about waiting. I had to wait an hour for a mamo and there was nobody else there waiting!
Have a great Friday!

when it reaches an hour I get mad I was on time why can't the doctor be!
After a half hour past my expected time to be seen.
Like you, 45 minutes then I start to get restless (and annoyed). 🙂 I always bring a book since the magazines always seem to be so outdated! 🙂

It can be 30 to 40 mins at busy times at our doctor's, but I could not read, I have to watch the little one. 🙂

I agree with you. I can wait…and expect to wait about 30/45 minutes. After that, I start watching the clock and get irritated.
In my doctor's office I've never had to really wait more than 10 minutes. Also, there's a sign on the wall that says if you had to wait more than 20 minutes please check up at the desk. Pretty cool. The only time I had to wait 1hr. was when I went in for out-patient surgery recently because the anesthesiologist was stuck in another surgery & did I want to wait an hour or get twilight sleep. I waited.
I always take a book, but don't like to wait more than 15 minutes without an explanation. If they let me know what's going on, I'm willing to wait longer.
After 15 to 20 mins I begin to get upset. Why? If I show up late, I have to reschedule, but if I'm on time I have to wait 30-45 mins. Trust me that ticks me off.
yes I bring a book everywhere! Such a time saver!
Thank goodness for my Kindle. I only have to wait for 1 Dr long, approx 45+ minutes, but all other Dr's, Dentist etc or almost immediate.
I'm used to waiting, sometimes over 1 1/2 hrs., so I always take a book and the time flies.

i hardly go to the dr. but if i had to wait more than 1/2 hr i would probably get irritated, but try to be understanding.. i did work in healthcare for awhile. 😉
probably about an hour…to be honest, I have never really had that problem. the worst is if you go to a walk in clinic – they always seem to take forever, but as long as I can make an appt. I seem to get in fairly quickly…my ped's office will actually tell me if the doc. is behind.
Probably an hour. Less if I have somewhere else to be.
