GIVEAWAY ENTRY PAGE "MEGAN’S WAY" ENDED

JULY 1st to JULY 15th, 2011
MEGAN’S WAY
by MELISSA FOSTER
SYNOPSIS:
When Megan Taylor, a single mother and artist living on Cape Cod, receives the shocking news that her cancer has returned, she’s faced with the most difficult decision she’s ever had to make. Megan’s illness reawakens the torment of her best friend, Holly Townsend, whose long-held secrets and years of betrayal come back to haunt her. How does one choose between a daughter and a life-long best friend? Can the secret she has been keeping be revealed after years of lying without destroying everyone in its wake?

But Megan isn’t the only one struggling. Fourteen-year-old Olivia’s world is falling apart right before her eyes, and there’s nothing she can do about it. She finds herself acting in ways she cannot even begin to understand. When her internal struggles turn to dangerous behavior, even the paranormal connection she shares with her mother might not be enough to save her – her life will hang in the balance. Megan’s Way is a journey of self discovery and heartfelt emotions, exploring the depth of the mother-daughter bond, and the intricacies of friendship.

  1. this book comes close to home,4 1/2 years ago i was diagnosed with colon cancer. It was a hard struggle but i hope I overcame it.
I hope people like me will learn a lot from your book.

  2. At 61, I doubt it but I can hope a cure can be found soon. Unfortunately, since there are so many different cancer types and each react differently and respond to different types of treatment, this may be very difficult to attain.

  3. I think this is a complicated issue. I know we are daily receiving carcinogens in our food and they are everywhere. We can't avoid them.
I believe this is a complicated issue and there will be breakthroughs for some of them. Rita Spratlen rj_angel_house@yahoo.com

  4. No I dont think they will find a cure in my lifetime as Im up in years already. I do hope they find a cure as I have alot of friends and relative who have passed on already or are now dealing with cancer.

  5. I doubt there will be a cure for cancer in my lifetime. Cancer is so complicated and there are so many different forms of it and it forms in places that can't be treated because it could kill you. Please enter me in contest. Tore923@aol.com

  6. Do I think all cancer will be cured in my lifetime-no, but great strides have been made over the last 50 years.

  7. I have this book and absolutely loved it. I am not entering the giveaway – but everybody if you don't win – go get it, it is a wonderful read.

  8. I wish I could say "Yes..they will find a cure", bad sadly, I don't believe so. I do believe treatments will continue to make huge advancements so quality & longevity of life will improve.

  9. at the age of 7 I lost my mom to a battle of cancer. I'm now 29 and I really hope for a cure one day

  10. I don't think there will ever be a 'cure' for cancer, just new/better ways to fight it

  11. Honestly, I believe there will be but I don't think it'll be available to the general public. The pharmaceutical and medical industry make too much money on cancer for them to let that through. Wish I wasn't so cynical but working on the other side of it in the past it looks to be the case.
