  Every day I seem to find another book blog that I start following. In the spirit of the Friday Follow, I thought it would be cool to do a Book Blog Hop to give us all bookies a chance to connect and find new blogs that we may be missing out on! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed!
  So, if you’d like to participate, just repost this on your blog, sign MckLinky on her site, and check out other blogs in MckLinky! Let’s connect and make new book bloggy friends!! So, if you consider yourself a book blogger, come join the fun!
  Pretty please – Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.

And…here we go!

1. I just had my first cup of coffee.
2. It is what it is.
3. The third sentence on the 7th page of the book I’m reading: As a military doc, I travel with a fairly complete collection of diagnostic tools and medical supplies.
4. Diamond jewelry tickles my fancy.
5. I was walking and still am walking with a walker since my surgery.
6. Some things that my hubby and sons say makes me laugh!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to spending relaxed time with hubby, tomorrow my plans include to-do list of blog items then read and Sunday, I want to attempt going outside, weather permitting and read, but that all depends on getting down the stairs with walker!

Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to this blog.
* Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.
  Selecting”export” opened a dialog box and told the program to copy everything, calendar, contacts, email, task lists, notes, and it made a backup for transmission in the format that I hoped would do something for me later-not that I would bet my life on that.

Friday is a busy day here on my blog.  As you can see I particpate in 4 memes.  Today is also the day that I allot myself more computer time and a little less reading time (shhhhhh don’t tell anyone).  But I just find these memes so much fun especially meeting new blogging friends.  So off I go…………

From An Island Life:
  In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
  If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life answer the question and then post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:

    Do you have a favorite saying and/or mantra?
I have 2:  Everything happens for a reason and There is always someone worse off than me.

Photobucket in the fun. You don’t need a blog to comment. But if you do want to join in, links provided for each and all memes.
