  1. I’m so sorry for you and your family over the tragic loss of your cousin. You are so right about #4. The truth is always the best way to go. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers , but I am sorry you lost a cousin to a drunk driver. When I was 8, I did too. My older cousin was coming home from the drive=in with his wife and 2 kids. A drunk driver hit them and he died along with his 2 yr. old daughter. The police had stopped the driver right before and knew him so let him go and told him to just go home. That was in 1978.
Have a nice weekend! Sorry for all the babble, but it was an odd coincidence we both lost cousins when we were young to drunk drivers.

    1. I am sorry for your loss. It is ironic that the same thing happened to us. As you know, even though it happened so long ago, being a child and have that happen, is quite traumatic. My cousin, her husband and youngest son had visited their oldest son in the hospital. They were supposed to come to eat at our house after the visit, but my cousin was very upset as another little boy in the hospital passed away that day, but told my mother they would be coming for supper during the week. She died on their way home.
