That is what Slapdash Sunday is for!

In my travels yesterday around the blogosphere, I visited Reading With Tequila’s Blog site and she had a Poll where she asked her readers what book she should read next.  The survey tool was from a site called Polldaddy……my question is this……how and where do you find cute little extras to put on your blog?  Is it from other sites that you have visited like I did?  Or are there sites that offer bloggers tools to work with?
 
I am so behind in my reading this week so my plan is to get a couple more things done and then I plan to spend the rest of the day READING AND RELAXING !!!!

This is going to be a short posting today as I am feeling very lazy today.  Good thing it is my Relax and Read weekend.  What are your plans for today?  Anything exciting?

My question is:  What is your favorite flower?
  I have Star Gazer Lily(s) in my garden.  Beautiful to look at and they are so aromatic.  I love that Yankee Candle has that fragrence so I enjoy it year round.  I even named my laptop (lol) Lily.

1. There are places to go, places to see.

2. Weatherman blow those clouds away.
3. Standing in the rain.
4. Boy oh boy.
5. He went out tiger hunting on his safari vacation.
6. I try to keep my mind from wandering .
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to relaxing and reading, tomorrow my plans include laundry, errands, relaxing and reading and Sunday, I want to do nothing but relax and read!

Before I post my Friday memes, I want to wish all a very Blessed, Healthy and Happy New Year.  Hoping everyone will meet new blogger friends.  I have found that book bloggers are the nicest people.  And that everyone is able to complete all their challenges for 2010 but if not, enjoy the experience, I know I will.

My question is:  How many challlenges have you signed up for in 2010?
My answer:  I have signed up for 9…don’t know if I will be able to complete one of the 9, but even If I don’t I will try my best to get as close to 100+ books, hosted by J.Kaye’s Book Blog.  I also know I will be enjoying every one I signed up for….I am so excited about 2010, as this will be my first year of challenges !!!!!
 

1. Last night was perfect…dinner w/hubby, toasted in the New Year 

2. Hoping to meet more nice people in the blogger world this year.
3. The funniest thing was recently when my oldest son was describing the rental car he received.
4. To hubby “ok we are lost”…so where do we go from here?
5. He said one thing; she said another but she was right since  females are always right!.
6. Happiness is what everyone wants and it’s up to us to find it.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to spending time with my family, tomorrow my plans include laundry, then relaxing and reading and Sunday, I want to do the same..relax and read!
