From An Island Life: In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life answer the question and then post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:     Morning Person or Night Owl?
I am definitely a morning person, waking up between 5am-6am.  If for some reason I sleep in, I feel that I have wasted the entire day.

And…here we go!
1. A cup of tea is what I drink when not feeling well.
2. Family and friends around the kitchen table makes a place feel like home. 3. Everything has its beauty if you look deep.
4. NO whipped cream added to the taste of strawberries?
5. Art makes me jealous, I can only draw stick people.
6. LOL I just noticed I forgot where I put my Friday To Do List.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to writing 2 reviews, watching some olympics, quality time with hubby, tomorrow my plans include the usual, laundry, taking care of my mom’s bills, computer to do list, reading and Sunday, I want to do nothing but RELAX & READ!

  1. I used to be a night owl but since I began working like a real adult, instead of working late and going to college, I have a morning person. I find myself waking up on the weekends at the same time I do during the week, just to sit around and drink coffee and do nothing!

  2. Hmm, I think I fall somewhere in the middle, lol. I do not like early mornings, but usually wake up between 7:30 and 8 naturally. I used to be a night owl, but pregnancy and chasing 3 kids has put and end to that.

  3. Can I cheat and say I'm a "nooner"? I used to be a night owl but I'm too beat by the end of the day, anymore and I'm SO not a morning person. 🙂

  4. Thank you all for stopping by..I just love Aloha Fridays…meeting to bloggy friends and finding new blogs to follow.

To those Night Owls…There was a time in my life a few (cough, cough, lol) ok…many years ago that getting up late (say noon time) it felt like it was soooo early. I think the funniest thing is when hubby forgets being our sons's ages and he will comment like…"I can't believe they are going out at 10pm…that's bedtime. I just laugh because we did the same thing and how parents responded the same way he is doing now.

  5. I tend to be more of a night owl, although I have been getting up at 4:30 in the morning lately to work out since that is the only time I can really do it without having to worry about my little ones getting in the way.

It's easier for me to work out in the morning than at night. However, I have no problem working on a project very late at night.

My Aloha Friday: What is the fondest childhood memory you have of your Dad?

  6. You have a very interesting Friday 56. I'd like to know more about what is going on. Mine is here.

I am a night owl by preference. However, I start work each workday at 7:30 AM and usually wake up by 7:30-8:00 AM when I sleep in. Summers (i.e. non-working time) I turn my schedule around and stay up until 2 AM and sleep until about 9 AM. Love summers!

  7. "Our friendly freedom fighters turned into foes" — that's one of the many dangers of war. 🙁

    Great teaser!

  8. Oh I am so NOT a morning person. I love being up late and would stay up even later if my kids weren't going to get up either way. 🙂

  9. Yep, that's me NIGHT-OWL definitely. I like my me time to do what I want without being interrupted and that's the best time. No hubby talking to ya and no phone ringing or doorbell. hehehe

  10. WOW..can't believe how kind you all are for stopping by. I love reading and receiving comments and tried to visit, but yesterday I was tied up writing reviews (have 3 to do…finished 1 1/2) and since I am a morning person, the laptop got shut down early. Again THANK YOU for stopping by…I will try to start even earlier next week and maybe stay up later so I can visit everyone.
