She backed out of the room and hurried into the other bedroom, not wanting to accept what Jovanic had said about not finding Kylie.

Week #10….QuestionDo you have multiple books going at once? Or do you prefer to stick to one book at a time?
My Answer:I am a one book gal, always have been. I feel that I might confuse plots, characters, or maybe even forget some details if I read more than one book at a time. Since reading for me is pure pleasure and enjoyment, I want to escape into the book I am currently reading and don’t think it would be the same reading more than one. However, it does amaze me when I see other bloggers that can read even 4 books at the same time. Maybe some day I will try it just to see.
That's a very teasing teaser! Haven't heard of this one before, but now I want to know more.
I've always got multiple books going. Wish I could make myself stick to one at a time, but I just don't have that much will power!
Sounds intriguing.
Re the question I tried to read two books at once (you know what I mean) since everyone seems to be doing it but I found it distracting.
Interesting! Wanna know more!

I don't really like to read more than one book at a time either. You can read more in my Fall into Reading post.
Congratulations on completing the Fall Into Reading 2010 challenge. I am a one book at a time reader. I once tried reading 2 at a time, I thought I would never get either one completed.
Great teaser! I haven't heard of that book, but I am going to go check it out now!
I generally read one book and listen to one book at a time.
Here is my teaser from The Wolves of Andover by Kathleen Kent (Page 8):
Martha saw it all clear in that moment: this was the instant her place in the family would be decided. If she lost her footing at the outset, she would forever be dealt with as no more than a servant.
I wouldn't want to hear that somebody I wanted found hadn't been found either! Intriguing teaser!

Sounds like TROUBLE! Question was he proven WRONG???
I used to be a 1-book-at-a-time gal, too 😀 I usually am but sometimes I'll put one down & start another until I feel more in the mood for the old one(s). You're right though–you do delve deeper into books one at a time.
