My answer:
When I was a younger, I was able to stay up until 2-3am reading and the funny thing, which now that I think about it, it was when my boys were young. One would think that I would need my sleep even more back then when I spent my days chasing after 2 little ones. Now a days, my sleeping patterns have changed. Take last night for example, I read until 10pm, because I just couldn’t put the galley that I am reading down, but that is late for me. I would rather be up by 5:30-6am or I feel that the day has been wasted. What about you? Are you a night owl reader?
Today’s question:
What’s the latest you’ve ever stayed up reading a book? Is staying up late reading a usual thing for you?
It was easier for me to read at night when everyone's sleeping. I usually stay up to 2 am when a book is really good. But during the time I was reading the Twilight Saga, I stayed up to 4 am, and believe me, it's kinda hard to wake up in the morning 😉 Now, I only stay not later than 2 am, but 11-12 is the earliest time 🙂 Guess I'm one of the night owls…

By the way, I so love your site! It's so pretty!!! 🙂 We almost have the same color palette for our site! I'm a follower now 🙂
Nowadays I only stay up late when the Shadows of My Mind won't quit racing around in my head and keep me awake. Then I get up and read until the wee small hours of the morning. Otherwise, I go to bed between 10:30 and 11 o'clock.
Oh to be young again 🙂
My BTT answer. Have a great weekend!
My eyes just get too tired to stay up anymore.

I generally don't stay up late reading, but I do get up and read when I can't sleep.
I feel like my day is wasted too if I don't get up early… my problem is that I love to stay up late anyway, so my days usually feel wasted =)

Why do so many people start the answer to this question with "when I was younger"? We are all still as young as we feel, some days not so young but still! Anyway my answer is since I do not have a much dreaded "day job" and no reason to get up with the rooster crowing in neighbor's yard in the early am there are still nights where a book keeps me up until 2, 3 maybe even 4 am if not until daylight itself… However that does not happen as often as it used to, usually read until 11 or 12 and then if lucky go to sleep and get up to feed my Tabby cat at 6 am on the dot. (Rain or shine, sleep or no sleep that cat get's fed at 6 am exactly!)
I am not a morning person (never have been). I'd rather stay up late…but can't do it like I used to.
