Today’s question:
If you could sit down and interview anyone, who would it be?
And, what would you ask them?
And, what would you ask them?
My answer:
This is one mighty hard question this week, at least for me. I have so many that are rattling around in my head, albeit family members that have passed on, the famous and infamous that also have passed on and great authors of past and present. However, I keep coming back to one in particular and that is Jesus. Maybe it’s because I received a very profound email about him this morning.
I am sorry if this offends anyone, however, it is my belief and my response. My faith, I am Catholic, has taught me that he suffered and died for us. I would ask how disappointed is he in mankind? Why is there so much hatred among his children? And even though we are taught and believe, I think we are all a little skeptical about eternal life, I would ask, will we truly be reunited with our loved ones?
Who would you interview?
Those are some answers we would all love to have! Thanks for sharing….

Cheryl, There are answers to all those questions in the Bible. And will we be truly united with our loved ones, the answer is Yes! In the Bible Jesus promised a resurrection at John 5:28,29, where he said: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming which all those in the memorial tombs (or graves) will hear his voice and come out…” The answers to your other questions are also answered in the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 shows the attitudes of many people today. If you take the time to read it, it is almost like reading some of the headlines we read or hear about in the news today. I hope this helped to answer some of your questions just a little.
Whenever I think of standing before Jesus, I think of the song by Mercy Me ~ I Can Only Imagine. What a powerful song!
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
King James Version (KJV)
16- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17- Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
