Slapdash Sunday is a day for your proverbial week ‘leftovers.’ Is there something you wanted to say, but just forgot? Is there something you want to write about, but isn’t worth a whole page? Do you have a random thought, funny or otherwise that needs to be written down?
That is what Slapdash Sunday is for!
………Have I missed some? Has someone posted that a certain challenge will be in place for 2011 but linky list is not up yet and I missed that too? Are you in the same position as me, that you are preparing and/or trying to prepare for your 2011 Challenges? Have you joined any challenges for 2011? Which ones? If you did, could you also provide the blog’s site link? Do you know or have you seen any others that you would like to share?
So instead of a discussion, I thought we could have a Slapdash Share !!!!
And I just found two more, one I have already signed up for and the other sign up will be posted for sign up on Dec. 1st:

Five of today’s most critically acclaimed thriller writers (left to right) Douglas Preston, Steve Berry, David Morrell, James Rollins, and Andy Harp posed for a group photo during a USO meet-and-greet in Kuwait on November 8, 2010. Part of a week-long USO tour entitled “Operation Thriller,” the authors were in the Middle East extending America’s heartfelt thanks to US troops.
From Danielle’s blog:
We all leave our “footprint” on the world, in one way or another. We each, individually, do something or are someone that makes the world a little better just by being here. I created this weekly meme to get to know the blogging community I love just a bit better. To know what makes them tick, outside of books, that is. Each week I will post a question to be answered in the following week’s “A Bit of Me(Me)”. Check back each Saturday to get the info for next week’s post and link up with your current post right here.
This weeks question: Name at least one (more if you want) thing you are grateful for.

This week’s question:
“Since Thanksgiving is coming up next week, let’s use this week’s Hop to share what we are most thankful for and what our holiday traditions are!”
My Answer:
Without question….family and friends. I am also thankful, and proud, of my 2 sons. They both are, happy, respectful, hard working and caring adults. Growing up, there were some hair pulling moments, but overall, they were good kids. They were the typical “teenagers” but never got in trouble outside of home. I absolutely love that they are so close, when they lived here, they would go out with their friends but it got to the point that their individual friends became each others’ friends and they all “hung out together”. Now that they live in different states, the call each other often. They are what I am most thankful for.
We usually eat at mil and then go visit my mother and sister. It is hard because of my mother’s lack of mobility, to include her outside of her assisted living facility. Only one son will be coming “home” for Thanksgiving but will be greatly missed.

Today’s Question:
Who would you rather borrow from? Your library? Or a Friend?
(Or don’t your friends trust you to return their books?)
And, DO you return books you borrow?
What I Think:
Friends, there is no pressure borrowing from friends if I don’t read it in the specified time like at the library. I will and do return books, but most of the time, it will be said that I can pass it on.
