Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
Maggie watched the rescue swimmer jump out of the helicopter one minute and within seconds she saws the flight mechanic, Kesnick, stumble and slide, diving headfirst toward the open door as if he were being sucked out behind Bailey.
Tuesday started out with the same usual routine, coffee mug in hand, reading my emails and my blogs’ newsletters, but today was a bit different. I then read a very special email that stated that “there was an award to pick up !!! And once again, I got that warm and fuzzy feeling, that someone likes my site. Paula from Community Bookstop said this about my blog: “reviews various books and is always great to read. Paula I thank you for this award and for giving me a great way to start off my Tuesday. You can find Paula here Now for the award:

Today’s Question:
Do you ever read a word or phrase that sparks a specific place or setting in your mind and makes you crave to read a book with that type of place/setting in it?
My Answer:
I think that with every book I read, I am transported there in my mind. If the author conveys, with detailed words the description of where the book is taking place, I can sense the location in my imagination. And with every book I read, I travel the world.
