From Java’s blog:
Are you a blogger over 40? Yeah, welcome to the club!
Please join in the fun and get to know your fellow bloggers!!
From Jennifer’s Blog:
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!
The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don’t have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.
If you start following someone through the Hop, leave a comment on their blog to let them know! Stop back during the week to see other blogs that are added! And, most importantly, the idea is to HAVE FUN!!
Today’s Twist:
“What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?”
My Answer:
It would be the newest model of either the Nook and/or Kindle. I have a Sony EReader but it doesn’t have a back light nor wireless d/l which I think a 2 important features, at least for my needs.
Happy Friday! Old follower, stopping in from the hop. I'm on the fence about e-readers, but the new Nook Color looks pretty cool. I also like the "lending" capability.
I've love to have the new NookColor, too!!
Here's my Hop: Coffee and a Book Chick — Blog Hop…
I would love to have one of the newer ones as well. I don't think I'd stop using my Nook though – the back-lit screens (like a pc/laptop) give me headaches.
i've already heard really good things about nookColor. my MOm works at a B&N, so she gives me all the gossip!
i just want full collections of everything my favorite authors have ever published. where the hell i'm gonna put it, i have no idea.
I don't think the Nook or Kindle are backlit either. I think the only reader that is is the iPad. I've actually heard that it's harder on your eyes, though.
I'm traveling with my Nook next week, for the first time. I hope the experience goes well. My Nook did lock up for two full days about a month ago so I am nervous!
Solid choice though.
Have a great weekend!
I love my Kindle but when a colour one comes out I totally am sold to get the upgrade.
BTW – I downloaded a new VincentZ, Innocent I believe is the title.
I don't think any of the ereaders have backlights (except for the Ipad). I just saw the new Nook Color and I kinda want it. Hmmmm–Christmas is coming!
I think I would love to have the new color Nook, even though eBooks aren't really my thing (it may be only because I don't have a reader, so any eBooks have to be read in front of my computer screen, and I ALREADY spend too much time in front of it!)
