This week’s question:
Series? Or Stand-alone books?
My Answer:
Mainly Stand-alone.  Series books would depend on the author and subject matter.  An example is The Women’s Murder Club by James Patterson.  I started reading this series many, many years ago and quite frankly, don’t remember much about them.  And over this past year, have won 3-4 of the latest ones.  I have been debating if I should purchase the first 4-5 of the series and reread, however, I came across a blogger’s review of one in the series and it wasn’t a favorable reveiew.  So should I spend the money or try reading the ones I have as Stand-alones?  Not sure.  Authors that can write books that are intended as a series, but can pull in the previous novel(s) and be read as a Stand-Alone, in my opinion, is pure talent.

It struck me recently how much time I spend on this computer every day, blogging, chatting or playing games on Facebook, emailing friends and relatives, making cards and calendars, etc. etc. etc.
We depend on each other for book reviews, giveaways, encouragement, friendship, but how well do we really know each other?
So that is what this meme is all about, getting to know each other.

WEEK 30 QUESTIONS

1. Have you ever traveled outside of the United States?
Yes, I have been very fortunate to have had the chance to have traveled.  When I was a child, we went on a family vacation to Canada.  While in High School, I travelled to Spain, Africa and Italy.  As an adult, I have visited Aruba and Nassau.
2. If you could pack up today on a vacation and money was no issue where would you go?
If you follow this blog, you know my favorite destination would be Aruba but I would also love to go back to Italy as a family vacation.
3. Is there somewhere in the United States that you have never been that you would like to visit?
Hawaii, I heard it is absolutely beautiful.  And then I would say I would like to visit whatever states the blogging friends, I have met over this past year, so I could spend time with them in real life instead of our virtual Sunday gab sessions.
