Topic:  Following blogs…What do you do in this situation?
There are days when I notice the number of followers I have and am amazed…truly amazed.  I remember how excited I was when I had my first follower, it was Vicki, my mentor, from Reading At The Beach. Where did all these followers come from and when?  Some of them I know because they leave me a note in the comment section stating that they a new follower and sometimes even telling me why, and in return, I usually email them back thanking them and then visit their blog and become a follower of their blog.  However, and here is my question and dilemma, what do you do if a person leaves such a note and you visit their blog and search, and search to find something of shared similar likes for and just can’t find one.  Do you follow anyway?  Or do you respond to their comment explaining why you aren’t following their blog after they have chosen to follow your’s?  Is there a blogging etiquette regarding this issue?  How would you handle it?  What would you do?

Yesterday I learned:
*tips on mail inbox tips, which I need to implement
*how to make a button/banner for blog
*RSS feed for blog
*cheat sheets (I read article about them and already had them in place except I have them in a mail folders. ex: one entitled Blog Memes
*a lot of time on google documents
Today’s plans:
*more time spent with google documents
*organizing my mail folders (getting rid of info not needed, putting info in proper folders
* ? favicon/gravitars
* backing up blog

The movie stars Matthew McConaughey as Mickey Haller, Ryan Phillippe, Marisa Tomei, William H. Macy, Josh Lucas, John Leguizamo and more.

   Mickey Haller has spent all his professional life afraid that he wouldn’t recognize innocence if it stood right in front of him. But what he should have been on the watch for was evil.
   Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense pro who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car, to defend the clients at the bottom of the legal food chain. It’s no wonder that he is despised by cops, prosecutors, and even some of his own clients.
   From bikers to con artists to drunk drivers and drug dealers, they’re all on Mickey Haller’s client list. But when a Beverly Hills rich boy is arrested for brutally beating a woman, Haller has his first high-paying client in years. It’s a franchise case and he’s sure it will be a slam dunk in the courtroom. For once, he may be defending a client who is actually innocent.
   But an investigator is murdered for getting too close to the truth and Haller quickly discovers that his search for innocence has taken him face-to-face with a kind of evil as pure as a flame. Didn’t get much reading done yesterday.   Had a lot of emails that required drafting for future postings…plus thought I should do a few things around the house before Bloggiesta started so reading got put on the back burner.  Bad, Bad me!!!

This is the first time I am participating in Bloggiesta, so I do not know what to expect.  Am hoping to learn some short cuts that will cut down on my time spent on the computer.  I am hoping that there will be tasks taught and for us to implement throughout the weekend.
Friday Progress, Updates, Tasks:
1.  Have read tips from Trish at Hey Lady, Watcha Readin how to organize inbox mail and will be implementing her tips.
2.  Kathleen from SMS Book reviews taught us how to make buttons and banners.  Here is mine.  I also copy and pasted her instructions that will go into a folder for future use.  Thank you Kathleen!!!

I didn’t complete all I wanted to do today but there is always tomrrow.  I did check out the cheat sheets tips and think I have that under control, add RSS and olayed around with a googl document.  Tomorrow I have my eye on a few others I need to do, in between real life issues.  And for the rest of the night, a little relaxation and reading for the Read-A Thon.  Have a great Friday evening all!!

My answer:
lol  I have to laugh at this question.  I have mentioned on more than one occasion how the hubster does not read.  He is still on page iii of the Prologue of a book he bought 3 years ago.  But last year, he had some points from something he belongs to, and had to use or lose so he put it towards 2 magazines, which, you guessed it, he just about reads the cover.  So I get to read Time and People weekly.

  It struck me recently how much time I spend on this computer every day, blogging, chatting or playing games on Facebook, emailing friends and relatives, making cards and calendars, etc. etc. etc.
  We depend on each other for book reviews, giveaways, encouragement, friendship, but how well do we really know each other?

Progress report: (so far) 15.5 hrs read…  1 book read..1 review written
Getting a little better each day…woohoo….put in about 6.5 hours of reading yesterday, finished a book, wrote and posted my review, started the first couple of pages on the next book so and hoping at this rate, today will be even better, except that I am supposed to be making a list, I think, for the Bloggiesta challenge of what I need to do…..LOL …we are talking computer here friends…..LOL  I have no clue on this one…Oh Gina!!!  Gina!!!!  Gina…I know you hear me…the one who told me I had to sign up….get me started here my friend  lol.
