If you have followed my blog over this past year, you know that I have become a HUGE fan of Vincent Zandri’s. I read all of his books and have been patiently waiting for his newest novel to be released. He surprised me last week by sending me the galley of this book and I can’t wait to start it. Thank you Vin for the honor of entrusting me with and allowing me to read and review the galley. I will let everyone know what I think and when it will be available for you to enjoy too. If it is anything like his other books, I’m in for a treat!!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Sunday’s Shining Star is on vacation this week. Jeff (Lori’s hubby aka Dollycas’s Thoughts) had some things to catch up on and needed the day off. Men!!!! I think we have been over working him with all the travelling plus putting him in charge of getting the dessert to our “gab sessions” on time (even though some of it is missing when it gets delivered BUT I’m not pointing any fingers lol)!! Next week is Mother’s Day so Sunday’s Shining Star will be back on May 15th. I am sure it will be a long gab fest with a lot of catching of to do. I created this weekly meme to get to know the blogging community I love just a bit better. To know what makes them tick, outside of books, that is. This week’s question: If your house was on fire and you could only grab 3 things before leaving, what would they be? (Other than family or pets.)

This week’s question really made me think, to the point that I walked through my house trying to decide.
As many photo albums and tapes that could be carried. That is definitely something that can not be replaced. To lose pictures of my boys growing up would be devastating to me.

All important documents

The third item was hard to decide. And I know I would have to leave some behind and only choose a few. But items that have sentimental value to me, like the Crucifix in our bedroom given to us by my husband’s cousin who married us, collectible items in my curio cabinet, items that have been passed down as the notebook filled with my grandmother’s recipes written in her handwriting and signed books.
